Meet the Lobby Series

Please join the Chair of Conservatives in Communications, Katie Perrior, in conversation with Financial Times Chief Political Correspondent, Jim Pickard, at our first ‘Meet the Lobby’ virtual event.

He will talk about the role of a lobby journalist, what it involves and the interactions that take place between ministers, special advisers and civil servants to put his stories to bed each day.

Hear from the man himself as to what PR tricks really make him mad, how the FT structures its day and the coverage that it produces, and how best to get your case across to very busy journalists working ridiculously tight deadlines.

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask Jim questions.
