In particular, but without limitation, we use your personal information for the following purposes:
A. Fulfilment of Services.
We collect and maintain personal information that you voluntarily submit to us during your use of the Website and/or our Services, for example when you email us to get involved or you register to attend one of our events, or to sign-up to the CiC-Start Mentoring Scheme or Weekly Jobs Alert service. We use the information that you have provided to us so that we can fulfil the supply of Services to you.
B. Gathering your feedback.
From time to time we will ask you to provide feedback about Conservatives in Communications or our Services in the form of a voluntary survey.
Where you take part in a survey which includes questions on diversity and inclusiveness, we may collect the following personal data:
We use this information to help us improve our network and offering. We also use your feedback to monitor the quality of our Services and to assist with the future direction of Conservatives in Communications. Survey responses will be aggregated and depersonalised before survey results are shared with any third parties or published.
C. Email marketing and communications.
We use your name and email address to send you marketing and communications by email from time to time.

Our objective is to promote our values which you can find here: https://toriesincomms.org In order to do this, we rely upon the support of, and being able to communicate with, our team, patrons and sponsors.

In most circumstances it is necessary for us to use your personal information to provide the Services to you and perform our obligations in accordance with any contract that we may have with you. It is also in our legitimate interest to use your personal information in such a way to ensure that we provide the very best service we can to you and to carry out the processing described above.
By voluntarily participating in one of our surveys we rely on your consent to use the personal information we collect or you supply as part of such survey. However, where special category information is collected as part of one of our surveys, we rely on legitimate interests to process the special category data to improve the diversity and inclusiveness of Conservatives in Communications and/or we rely on reasons of public interest.

These third parties include UK Do Different Ltd., which acts as the network's secretariat, customer survey companies who assist us with administering the surveys, marketing platforms who assist us with our marketing newsletters, and payment providers.
We will never sell your data but sometimes it is necessary to share your information with our service providers and data processors. Data is only ever shared where we have a justification and when the law allows us to do so.

Your right of access.
If you ask us, we’ll confirm whether we’re processing your personal information and, if so, provide you with a copy of that personal information (along with certain other details). If you require additional copies, we may need to charge a reasonable fee.

If the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you’re entitled to have it rectified. If we’ve shared your personal information with others, we’ll let them know about the rectification where possible.
